At Lo-Fi Zone Rome, our belief in community extends beyond our cafe walls. Inspired by the historic and compassionate work of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta right here in our city, we are honored to support their new, modern shelter for homeless individuals on the Aventine Hill. This state-of-the-art facility, inaugurated in January 2026, offers showers, laundry, a clinic, and vital dignity to Rome’s most vulnerable. We are committed to being a small part of this incredible, almost millennial tradition of service.
“Caffè per la Solidarietà” Donation Drive (February 1–28): For every signature espresso or cappuccino sold, Lo-Fi Zone will donate €1 directly to the Order of Malta’s shelter operations. Enjoy your coffee knowing it directly funds meals, medical care, and essential services.
Essential Items Collection Point: We have established a designated donation point in our cafe. Customers are welcome to bring new socks, hygiene kits, or non-perishable food items, which we will deliver to the shelter. As a thank you, donors will receive 10% off their next purchase.
Community Conversation Evening: On February 18, we will host an informal evening for customers to learn more about the shelter’s work from volunteers. It’s a chance to connect over coffee and understand how we can all contribute to a more compassionate community.
This collaboration reflects our core value: that a space designed for focus and creativity should also foster empathy and tangible support for the neighborhood we call home.
